The LoRaWAN World Expo was attended by industry leaders from all around the world - enterprises, device makers, system integrators, distributors, developers, solution providers, educational institutions, IoT alliances, influencers, and many more. 

Representatives of both business and industry from across the world met to learn and share the latest news about LoRaWAN IoT technologies. GS1 in Europe was involved in a session alongside the French National Railway Company (SNCF) and the Spain based company, Witrac providing global track and trace platform based on GS1 standards and LoRaWAN network.

The session started with the presentation of GS1 in Europe, introducing GS1, the system of GS1 standards, the goals of the MoU between GS1 in Europe and LoRa Alliance which is ongoing since 2020. Following the GS1 in Europe presentation, the 2 companies invited showed real use cases where GS1 standards are in use combined with the LoRaWAN network. After the presentations, members from the audience got the chance to ask questions about the details on how the strengths of both systems can be combined to create ecosystem for solutions, products & services.

The event was successfully held with the participation of more than 2000 attendees, 80 speakers and 75 exhibitors with over 4,700m2 of exhibition space showcasing LoRaWAN solutions, devices, and platforms.
